Feldenkrais Therapy is an educational programme that enhances the communication between your body and your brain.

It accentuates personal awareness of your body’s mobility patterns.

It uses movement and structural training. The movements are slow and gentle, and the focus is on correcting posture.

  1. This Therapy is a Functional Integration it is a hands-on form of tactile, kinesthetic communication.

The practitioner communicates how you organize your body and, through gentle touching and movement, conveys the experience of comfort, pleasure and ease of movement while you learn how to reorganize your body and behavior in new and more expanded functional motor patterns.

But actually its a touchy feely thing, a comfort of the touch, there is no evidence globaly that this technique can treat sheletal muscular back pain.

    Please don’t waste your money!

    • Hi tel1342, thank you so much for explaining this therapy so thoroughly for us here on the back pain blog. You make it sound very interesting but possibly a bit of a waste of time for real pain. The problem at the moment is that there are sooooo many different types of pain relief treatments available you don’t know where to start.

      Thanks again 🙂
