If you cannot do exercises in a gym try to walk a little every day.
Track your pain level and activity every day to see what helps.
Get a massage, it helps relieve tension which contributes to pain.
Find a way to distract yourself away from your pain.
Have a long soak in a hot bath.
Start a new hobby.
Talk to your friends about your pain.
Learn to say ‘no’ on your bad days.
Keep a journal.
Read up on your condition as much as you can.
