According to a recent article in The Daily Mail, an occasional tipple may lower the risk of developing a common form of arthritis.
A new study, at Military Medical University in Shanghai, based on 200,000 people suggest low to moderate alcohol consumption for a least ten years reduced the risk of rheumatoid arthritis by 17 percent.
They do not know why alcohol might have this beneficial effect, but it is believed it may help to reduce inflammation.
This sounds too good to be true 😉

I find alcohol a brilliant pain reliever which can be pretty instant but then when it wears of I feel much worse so maybe that’s the same with you 🙂

I like a little as it definitely works as a pain killer for me, but I daren’t have too much as then I feel much more pain. 😦
