Some patients have had to wait for years before they were given the diagnosis that there debilitating varied symptoms were from Fibromyalgia, and even now some patients are misdaignosed.
Well hopefully that will be a thing of the past as according to an article in My Fibro.Com http://www.myfibro.com/news/
researchers in a study that was published last August are suggesting that a ‘high-powered and specialized microscope’ was able to tell the difference between small molecules in blood-spot samples
from patients who had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
The microscope was able to tell the difference between these molecules and those of patients with arthritis. Both of these diseases share many of the same symptoms.
However more study is required with this method but it’s a start in the right direction.
