ACUPUNCTURE AWARENESS WEEK 2nd – 8th MARCH…

acupncture

Acupuncture Awareness Week is from the 2nd-8th March which to help educate people about how this traditional remedy can help improve sleep and aid relaxation. As you know I have been quite a advocate of acupuncture in the past for pain relief. I am sure it must be a great help to improve sleep and relaxation.

According to National Awareness Days site, 2.3 million acupuncture treatments are carried out each year, traditional acupuncture is one of the most popular complementary therapies practised in the UK today. Yet statistics show that 1 in 5 of us would only consider acupuncture for sleep as a last resort. Almost a quarter of people admit they didn’t realise acupuncture could benefit them despite its widely recognised health benefits.

On the British Acupuncture Facebook page,
Acupuncture Awareness Week, they say acupuncture is one of the most popular complementary therapies practised in the UK today. Yet many people only discover acupuncture as a last resort despite its widely recognised health benefits.

      1. Some years ago I had a course to see if it would help with insomnia, and no it didn’t – what’s more, it wasn’t cheap. Although they did give me a concoction to help with night sweats, which was great if it hadn’t been so pricey!

My sis in law says that she doesn’t always have very good results with insomnia, which was interesting.
