For chronic pain sufferers our bedside table can reveal what we rely on to help us relax and get through the night.
As I sit on my bed and look at mine I have my bedside light with a press button on and off switched which I find so much easier than one under the bulb as I don’t need to stretch to turn it on and off.
I have a lovely heart tile a friend gave me which says ‘Good friends are hard to find harder to leave and impossible to forget’ which I use for my mugs of tea or glasses of water.
I have a tiny fluffy toy poodle which is fastened with magnets around my lamp stand which another friend gave me when I first had my poodle.
I have my chargers for my phone and kindle fire and my heat blanket all plugged in ready to use when I want them,
I have the landline hands free phone.
I also have some hand creams and my Tumeric tablets as the container is too big to go into my drawer.
I keep all my pills in a very pretty box which makes them look less clinical, in the bedside drawer.
What’s on your nightstand?
A small flashlight so I don’t wake up my husband. My tablet and charger, cell phone, home phone, pain killers and notepad and pen to write down when I took a pain pill so I don’t take them too close together. A glass of water, always. My pill containers that I fill up out of the bottles that are stored in a nice bag that I can grab and go when necessary.

Perfect combination Tina, I have a pen light as well that I pop next to me when I go asleep. I do find that I have an awful habit of checking the time thought !!! 🙂

Pretty much the same as you actually! Heated blanket essential…..I also keep a pair of headphones to listen to BBC Radio 4 short dramas in the night via my phone/ipad…I find these tend to send me to sleep, and not because they are boring, more soothing!!

I also have a pair of headphones in the drawer to listen to my audio stories which I only listen to if I wake up or cannot sleep – hope your keeping well 🙂
