SEVEN REASONS WHY PLANTS ARE GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH…

1. They purify the air, plants help air circulation which can prevent the spread of viruses.

2. They boost your energy. The positioning of a pot plant or two can boost your focus and studies have shown that workers are more productive when their office is filled with greenery.

3. They will help you sleep. Placed around your bedroom, house plants can be a very useful aid to a better nights sleep.

4. They can ease stress. Being so close to nature has been shown to lower stress levels. We talk to our plants in the hope they will grow better. They say that interaction with indoor plants may reduce psychological and physiological stress.

5. They will make you happy, Yeh ! they do make me happy even though I am far from green fingered. I get a real buzz if one I’m looking after grows well. Apparently it’s this “nurturing” of your plants and the joy of plants doing well that will make you feel happy.

6. They help to improve mental health. Researchers in the U.K. found that people who live around nature feel much happier than those that don’t. If you are in a flat and not near the countryside then plants in your home will help you feel less boxed I’m and have a sense of peace around them.

7. They add more humidity to the home as plants release almost all of the water they take in. This is great as the water will help to improve your air quality and health. You don’t need to use a humidifier as the plants does it all for you.
