There are a large number of smart fitness watches available now and do not need to cost a fortune to do exactly the same as the very expensive ones. I have had two in the past with the FitBit one the one I have used the most but I was recently sent a UHOOFIT Smart Watch to see what I thought of it. I chose the black strap but it is also available in pink.

It arrived neatly packed in the box with instructions and looked similar to the one I have always used except for a much neater and sleek looking 1.69″ Full Touch Screen.

A smartwatch is a touch-screen enabled wristwatch that can be connected to a phone through Bluetooth or WiFi. There are also models that do not require a phone connection to function. Like typical wristwatches, smartwatches tell the time.

Like lots of smart fitness watches it has a number of functions to it which include being waterproof which is very useful. The bracelet time main page displays information on the date, time, number of steps etc. The steps monitor records the current number of steps, calories and distance. For me personally, this is the most important function as I cannot go and do a workout at a gym and so walking is my only form of exercise. I find it really does spur me on to walk a bit more when it flags up how many steps I have left to do in an hour.

A smart fitness-tracking device on your wrist may soon be charting your bottom line as well as your health, as a growing number of insurance companies and employers offer financial incentives to people who use the gadgets.

What’s the difference between a smartwatch or a fitness tracker? A fitness tracker is designed to keep track of your health and exercise. A smartwatch keeps track of your fitness too, but it also keeps you connected by delivering notifications and updates on your wrist.

The UHOOFIT Smart Watch also shows your blood oxygen, your sleep time as well as deep sleep time. It gives you the current weather and has message notifications that receive phone calls, text messages, Facebook, whatsapp, twitter, Instagram, skype, and more. You just have to download the Da Fit app which is available from the App Store or Google.

It also shows your blood pressure. You simply touch the screen to start the measurement. After the vibration, the measurement result will be prompted. It also shows your heart rate and your music and can even take a photo. You connect your smart phone to the app and follow the instructions.

This UHOOFIT Smart Watch is a reasonable £35.99 and would definitely make a great Christmas gift without breaking the bank. I would definitely give it 5 stars.

Smart Watches are exactly what they say they are SMART and can only benefit your health in the long run. As far as ‘Are Smart Fitness Watches All They Are Hyped Up to Be?’ – well in my opinion ‘yes’, anything that is as these types of watches are have to be beneficial to us all.

  1. This smart watch sounds like a great bargain Bar! I have a Fitbit Versa 3 and I love being able to see my health information. It also helps me stay accountable to my fitness goals. It sounds like this one works in a similar way, and the price is definitely right. Hope you’re doing well sweet friend. Hugs!

  2. Hi Terri, I have the FitBit and was given this to try. It has more applications and is such a great price. Like you I love being able to check how my steps etc are getting on. I’m ok at the moment thanks Terri, I hope you are also keeping well xxx
