It’s not too late to get involved with Peace of Cake Week and raise some funds. The annual Peace of Cake week is back for 2022! Between 21st-27th March and they are asking YOU to get baking and raise some dough to support your local Hospice and help them make this the biggest Peace of Cake Week yet! You could choose to host a Coffee Morning, Afternoon Tea, or Cake Sale or you could even organise a Cake Raffle!
Whatever your reason to host, no reason is too big or too small. All you have to do is register your interest using the “Register your interest” form on their page and get your very own fundraising kit to get you started. You’ll receive collection tins, stickers and their Peace of Cake fundraising pack which includes: invitations, posters, bunting and more. After your event, we will send you a Peace of Cake certificate to thank you for the dough you have raised.
Hosting or attending a Peace of Cake Coffee Morning or Cake Sale is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause.
During 2020-21, 1,513 referrals were made to our services. The money you raise at your Peace of Cake event will make a difference to those in our community who need us because we believe every person matters and every day counts.
“Holding a Coffee Morning is great fun and the fundraising team are there to support you from start to finish. The sense of achievement is amazing once it is over and you have counted up everything you have raised for Peace Hospice Care.”
Linda Anderson, The Kitchen – Croxley, Peace of Cake host
“The last couple of years have been really challenging for everyone, particularly being apart from our friends and supporters in the local community. Hosting a Peace of Cake event is the perfect opportunity to come together again and reconnect, whilst supporting our wonderful local Hospice.”
Audrey Balderstone and Pat Walton, Stanborough Park Church, Peace of Cake hosts
