ARE YOU HEALING OR BEING HEALED?…

Healing, what does it really mean to people in constant pain? In the Oxford Dictionary it says “healing is the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.” (noun) “tending to heal; therapeutic.”(adjective)

Cancer Research wrote that “healers believe that healing energy exists all around us, and that they can channel this energy. They believe that the energy can heal you. There is no reliable scientific evidence to support its use as a cancer treatment.”

Summary

  • Healing involves the channelling of healing energy, and healers believe that this energy can heal you
  • There is no reliable scientific evidence to say it works as a treatment for cancer
  • There are no reported side effects

Healing has become a popular means of alternative treatment. The scientific theory behind this is that a patients brain waves are stimulated during the treatment which can then help the healing process to start.

Some healers believe ‘they’ have been given some sort of power to help speed up the body’s natural process of healing. They say it is completely safe for people of any age or state of health. It is used for many conditions, in particular for stress and for muscoskeletal disorders and chronic illnesses. It doesn’t always work but the patient usually finds that their ability to cope with their problems improves. Many healers only require one session but usually a number of sessions are required.

In the Cambridge Dictionary it says that healing means :

The process of becoming well again, especially after a cut or other injury, or of making someone well again.

Some herbs have been used in healing for centuries.

The process in which a badsituation or painfulemotionends or improves.

Healing only begins when the hurt is shared with someone. We have seen much progress, but the healing process is going to take years.

So, although chronic pain is probably not something that you can treat with herbs or stick a plaster on it. However, to help it heal it can be helped by using our mind and body. Believing you can truly be in less pain if you do this or that can also help to convince your mind that there is a way out of this situation if you put your mind to it.

I have personally never seen a healer but I do believe some people have magic hands and I used to see a lady who gave me regular aromatherapy massage who I was convinced had healing hands. I always felt so much better after I had seen her. Of course the treatment itself was relaxing which helps any pain but I think it was her aura that convinced me I was in safe hands and I would leave feeling in less pain.

She held her treatments in a private hospital room and you could smell the relaxing oils as you walked down the corridor. She was always in a white surgical gown and the minute you entered the room you felt completely safe.

Her hands were healing hands and throughout the treatment she would quietly ask how you were feeling or did it hurt where she was working. Since she retired I have had a number of different aromatherapy massage sessions but none made me feel like she did. So, was I actually having a healing session with my aromatherapist? Well, I believe I was and I really miss though healing hands.

If your healing hands are your local GP, your Pain Consultant or even your best friend. If they make you feel more healed then try and see them as often as you can.

SENSITIVITY TO ENERGIES – HEALING IS ON ITS WAY…

UK Health Radio wrote a post which you can see above on a new blog Healing is on its Way written by energy healer Jon Mason. Jon says his mission is to help you live a life of real value. Without being limited by the patterns and habits that you have inherited through life and family.

John’s About Me page explains in detail how he got involved in energy healing.

I’ve been sensitive and intuitive from an early age, with my first experience of awakening at the age of 15. Although I didn’t understand what was happening at the time, I realised that who I really am is not restricted to my body. This realisation was to embark me on a journey, which included learning transcendental meditation from the age of 20 and gave me a depth of experience and understanding.

It also led me to a deeper comprehension of the link between mind and body, which culminated in me training as a chiropractor, specialising in using the lightest techniques available. I have been constantly surprised by the effectiveness of even the gentlest of touches, in bringing about changes in both mind and body.

This sensitivity continued to grow as I raised our family, and my intuitive guidance led us towards homeopathy, chiropractic and acupuncture, as the mainstay of our health and healing. With these tools our family grew in vitality and natural well being.

As a chiropractor, whilst working with many thousands of patients I discovered that the more stubborn physical issues frequently stemmed from underlying, unresolved emotional energy. Often issues that had been around for years would quickly resolve once the deeper causal elements had been addressed.

Around 2011 my work changed dramatically following a chance incident in which I was asked if I could help someone who lived 300 miles away. This first experiment of remote working was amazingly successful, and very quickly my role expanded into helping people of all ages, all over the globe, for a wide range of physical and emotional/mental health issues.

What was really surprising to me was the fact that the remote sessions were equally as effective as my in-person work, and these days I connect remotely with clients worldwide, so that location or time zones are no longer a significant factor.
